What
a week in the gym for the Wildthing!!! I was a very fortunate lady this
week I got some good work in with Billy Hussein who has a really gentle
personality but I learnt quickly not to let that fool you.
The
Hussein brothers have become like my own brothers in the gym, they are
very supportive, they push me hard and like all brothers would they
stir me up heaps.
I
wish I could hit all these buttons on the keyboard properly, if only
you guys could see some of the words I am writing before I look up at
the screen and hit spell check. Its a big part ofwhat Billy is trying
to teach me right now and that is to SLOW DOWN and RELAX.
I
remember when I was younger my grandparents used to tell me I made them
dizzy because I couldn't sit still or slow down for 10 seconds!!!!!!
Anyway
back to my week of training in Sydney I was blessed with Lovemore Ndou
offering his time to spar with me on Thursday. I jumped at the pportunity
TWICE. Let me tell you that man is fast, it was an amazing experience
for me and I learnt a lot from him. Billy was coaching in my corner and
Hussy Hussein was there giving me some very good advice. I done 8 x 3
minute rounds with Lovemore it was unreal. We met for sparring again Friday
and by then I had learnt to relax a little and enjoyed the experience
even more. Lovemore will be at my fight on October 1st for all you fan's
that would like to catch up with him, he is going to hit the Coast a week
early to help me with my preparation. Thank you Lovemore.
I
returned to the Gold Coast Saturday 28.8 and hit the gym with my partner
Stephen Boyce for a grueling 10 rounds of sparring. Now after a week
apart and sending romantic messages and sweet phone calls, if you were
watching our session you would have asked the same thing we did...."Didn't
they say they missed each other" Steve is as dedicated to me winning
my World Title as I am and that is very special. I will be back to tell
you how much damage I do to him over the next few days...Giggle Giggle
Before
I go CONGRATULATIONS to Skinny Hussein who had a TKO victory on Friday
night at Penrith over a very awkward fighter from Thailand. Skinny kept
his composure well and fought great against a man that had no sportsmanship
and tried a few dirty tricks.
GOOD
LUCK Vic Darchinyan (who both Steve and I spared a couple of weeks ago)
from Team Fenech with your World Title Bout on Sept 3rd in the USA.
We all wish you the best and look forward to seeing you bring that belt
back to OZ. Vic is a very small guy with some very big power.
Take
care out there
Wildthing
xx
