Hey Guys,

happy New Year to each of you and welcome back to my web page and I pray that you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year with your family and friends.

It's starting off to be a very exciting year for me; I am invited to Cancun Mexico for the WBC Celebration of Champions January 28th-31st. There will be an awesome fight night on the 28th with 3 WBC World Titles to start the week of celebrations.

Whilst I'm there I will receive an award for my fight on October 22nd 2005 against Marcela Acuna. We have been awarded the WBC FIGHT OF THE YEAR (Female). What an honour and yes I done the girly thing when I found out and got all teary. It is such an amazing feeling to be placed up amongst the great names of boxing, by being awarded such a prestigious title.

The WBC Celebration of Champions will see a majority of the past and present champions of the WBC enjoying four day's at a resort in Cancun meeting and greeting with one another. It is an athlete's dream to be amongst so many wonderful inspiring champions. I believe there will be such greats as George Forman, Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler, Jeff Fenech, Lennox Lewis and Azumah Nelson just to name a few.

What an exciting time for the Inaugural WBC Featherweight Champion of the World.

I am currently in the middle of changing management groups so I would like to take this opportunity to thank David Viola for everything he has done for me from March 2005 until October 2005.

I have been pleasantly surprised with being nominated for two awards on Australia Day here on the Gold Coast so it's wonderful to know that everything I do in and out of the ring is recognised throughout the community.

This is just the beginning of so many wonderful opportunities that have come into my life and I will be more than happy to let you all be the first to know what is happening in my life.

I will be in touch again when I return from Mexico, I will also add some great photo's to the web page of my experience over there. Until then may god bless you and your families.
