Hey
Guys, Thank you for visiting my web page the year 2006 has been an amazing year for me so far. I have been blessed by God and given the opportunity to be the Ambassador for the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital Research Foundation which in my heart gives me an amazing chance to give back to a community that has been so supportive of me and my career. Being involved with the RBWH Research Foundation has touched me in so many ways. To experience visiting such wards as burns victims and premature baby's has opened my eyes on how much medical researchers, professors and doctors continue to improve our medical research and they never give up on trying to find a new answer to cure or ease illness. If any of you would like to make a donation to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital Research Foundation please email Stephen Boyce Wildstar@bigpond.net.au and we can follow it up for you. As for my fight career I am fighting Kansuay Deksukhothai from Thailand on June 9th for a warm up bout leading into a WBC defence in August. The poster will be added to the web page shortly. The event is live on FoxSport so if you're in Australia please tune in. If you're on the Gold Coast having your support in person would be fantastic. My training has been extremely solid after not having fought since October 2005 and I love every second of it. In January Steve and I travelled to Cancun Mexico and spent 4 days in the Riu Palace with over 90 past and present WBC World Champions. We met so many amazing athletes it was blessing to have been in their company. Names like Lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield, Shannon Briggs, Michael Spinks, Rocky Mattioli, Roberto Duran, Hector Comancho, Carlos Zarratti, James Toney, Julio Cesaer Chavez, Ken Norton and Laila Ali that's only a few. (Photos will be added shortly - Ed) It was the most exciting weekend I have spent and the most humbling experience. I was awarded the WBC Female World Title Fight of the Year which was a proud moment. A very special friend of mine Mr. Frank Quill sadly lost his beautiful wife and soul mate a few weeks ago. We are heart broken for Frank yet at peace to know that Sue is no longer in pain. Sue was the absolute light of Frank's life he is an amazing man who cherished his wife's every breath. Our love goes out to you Frank and our prayers are with you every day. I will be in touch just before my fight to let you know how things are going and I pray that God blesses every one of you, your families and your friends. With Love, Wildthing xx
