Hello to all my supporters and friends out there.

I have been so busy since my World Title Victory on Friday 1st October that I have only just had a chance to sit down and tell you all about it. I must say Linda was not only a tremendous athlete she was also a lady. Linda was very well accepted by the Australian public and the fight fans who turned up to see her touch gloves with the Wildthing. My partner Steve made sure that Linda and Richard Lord were well looked after and treated like family here in our country. I would like to let Linda know that she made a huge impact on the Aussies 'down under' especially Darren at

Soprano's Cafe in Broadbeach who complimented her as an athlete and a beautiful woman.

Oct 1st was definitely the most exciting night of my boxing career, knowing that the venue was packed to support two ladies about to battle it out so one of us could become the new "WBF Featherweight Champion of the World". My body was definitely at its fittest and my mind was focused to do 10 good rounds and to WIN. I knew that we were going down in history and I wanted it to be a night that would be etched into people's minds forever.

The main thing I wanted to do was to make Jeff Fenech PROUD. Proud that he had made the decision to look past his personal feelings on female boxers and help me. Proud that he made me a part of his team, TEAM FENECH. Proud to say "she's as good as the men."

It took me a few rounds to relax and I put that down to a couple of things:

1) Being out of the ring for so long.
2) Being so excited that I was in the ring.
3) I was making history in my own coun
try in front of all my family, friends and supporters.

One of the main reason's that I managed to relax and compose myself so early was because my corner was made up of a team I could of only dreamed of . Jeff Fenech had taken the main position in my corner along with Angelo Hyder as my cut man. My father Les Anyos was working along side Jeff and H and my wonderful partner Stephen Boyce was there to help in any way he could and that usually meant "chilling me with something very cold" With these 4 men in your corner you could be nothing but confident.

Linda gained my respect early with a beautiful right hand which really made me think about the power and class that she had hidden inside her. I felt strong the entire way through the fight and knew that I had outscored Linda in every round. The entire bout was fantastic I loved every second of every round. My main goal was to show the nation what classy and superb athletes women can make. The feedback that we received from the crowd and through all the supporters who tuned in through FoxSport was sensational.
