At beginning of fight Argentinian Neris Rincon was ordered to remove what appeared to be a huge body pad. It was a kidney belt that covered a majority of her upper body. The fight began about 8 minutes after the National Anthem was sung.

Anyos was under the guidance of Dave Hedgecock accompanied by her partner Stephen Boyce and training pal Steve Irvine. Jeff Fenech was in America with Lovemore Ndou and Danny Green. Lovemore fought on the Bernard Hopkins undercard 4 days before and Green is preparing for his World Title in Germany.

Anyos's fight started of with both girls taking the first round to settle in however Anyos lead the fight from the first bell. Rincon held on a lot to Anyos and after many warnings from the referee eventually lost a point.

Anyos broke Rincon's ribs in the 3rd round with her powerful body attack, however Rincon showed the true warrior she is and continued to fight on another 3 rounds. Anyos knew the body of Rincon was in trouble thanks to the eye of her manager Stuart Duncan and Dave Hedgecock. After a punishing round six Rincon could not get up from her corner and Anyos looked over to see she was crying uncontrollably, shortly after the referee waved his hands in the air.

Anyos jumped out of her corner in Victory . Another fight - another win for Australia's Wild Thing!
