Vs Neris Rincorn
The
following report is provided by sharonanyos.com
At
beginning of fight Argentinian Neris Rincon was ordered to remove what
appeared to be a huge body pad. It was a kidney belt that covered a
majority of her upper body. The fight began about 8 minutes after the
National Anthem was sung.
Anyos
was under the guidance of Dave Hedgecock accompanied by her partner
Stephen Boyce and training pal Steve Irvine. Jeff Fenech was in America
with Lovemore Ndou and Danny Green. Lovemore fought on the Bernard Hopkins
undercard 4 days before and Green is preparing for his World Title in
Germany.
Anyos's
fight started of with both girls taking the first round to settle in
however Anyos lead the fight from the first bell. Rincon held on a lot
to Anyos and after many warnings from the referee eventually lost a
point.
Anyos
broke Rincon's ribs in the 3rd round with her powerful body attack,
however Rincon showed the true warrior she is and continued to fight
on another 3 rounds. Anyos knew the body of Rincon was in trouble thanks
to the eye of her manager Stuart Duncan and Dave Hedgecock. After a
punishing round six Rincon could not get up from her corner and Anyos
looked over to see she was crying uncontrollably, shortly after the
referee waved his hands in the air.
Anyos
jumped out of her corner in Victory . Another fight - another win for
Australia's Wild Thing!
